In Game 2 Lowell defeated the Clamdiggers 13-3 behind strong hitting and solid defense. In the championship Lowell continued its dominance with a 16-1 win over the Rockinghams. After surrendering a run in the first inning Lowell’s defense clamped down and did not allow another Rockingham to score. In the 7th Lowell broke the game open scoring 9 runs in the inning. This is back to back championships for the Lowell Nine.

Jan’s Pitch Fundraiser to date, we are around $10,000 raised this year. We would like to thank all of those who donated money and art supplies to the event. We would like to thank Bethany Groff Dorau Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm and Historic New England for hosting us all season. A huge thank you to James Dorau and Ipswich Ale Brewery for providing us fine Ipswich Ale and Jim Jam Hot Dogs all season. Thank you to all of the players who made the season happen and worked so hard to raise so much money for this final event. Thank you to Jennie Lynch for all of her photos and dedication to this organization. There are so many others that make this organization work.  We as an organization look forward to the offseason and preparing for even better things in 2020.
